Google API Services data use

Closina connects to Google only with the permissions you grant, and only for the features listed below. Each permission shows the exact scope Closina requests, what Closina does with it, and what Closina stores as a result.

Google Calendar

Closina reads your calendar to work out when you are free, and creates, updates and cancels the appointments booked through Closina. If you use Closina's AI voice agent, the times you are free are sent to the third-party service that runs the agent, so it can offer those times to a caller. Closina sends the free times only — never your event titles, descriptions, attendees, or the times you are busy. If a caller asks for a time that clashes with something already in your calendar, the agent is told that the time conflicts with an existing event, and nothing about what that event is.

What Closina stores

The appointments Closina books or syncs, and the connection itself: an encrypted access token and the notification channel Closina uses to receive calendar changes.

Google Contacts

Closina reads your Google contacts when you start an import, so you can bring them into Closina as contact records. The openid and email permissions tell Closina which Google account you connected, so the connection can be shown and managed. If you use Closina's AI voice agent with an imported contact, that contact's name, email address and phone number are sent to the third-party service that runs the agent. That happens in three situations: when you start an AI call to that contact, when you add them to an AI outreach campaign, and when that contact calls you and Closina matches their number so the agent can greet them by name.

What Closina stores

The contact records you choose to import, a record of each import you run, and the connected account's address.

Limited use of your data

The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Closina's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs also follows the Google Workspace APIs User Data and Developer Policy. Data obtained through these permissions is used only to provide the features described on this page. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to develop, improve, or train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models — including de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated derivatives of it. It is never transferred to anyone else except as needed to provide the features described on this page, for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with the law, or, after obtaining your explicit prior consent, as part of a merger or acquisition. Closina staff do not read this data except where you have given explicit permission, including when you ask us to resolve a support request you raised; where it is necessary for security purposes, such as investigating a bug or abuse; or where the law requires it.

Withdrawing access

You can disconnect a Google account from Closina at any time on the matching settings page. You can also revoke Closina's access from your Google Account's third-party connections settings. Revoking access stops all further syncing immediately.
